Last year's Studio Ghibli Art Show was our biggest event of the year, so we are once again calling on local artists to pay tribute to the iconic and revolutionary Japanese animation studio: Hayao Miyazaki's Studio Ghibli! Last year they celebrated 40 years, and this year Spirited Away turns 25- not that we need an excuse to celebrate with them!
Join us on Friday November 13th as we host dozens of local artists presenting Ghibli-inspired fan art, art of their own in the Ghibli style, creative mash-ups, Houston theme twists and more- all paying homage to the studio that revolutionized the animation industry and inspired filmmakers, animators, and artists alike for over 4 decades!
FREE SHOW!! All ages welcome! Bring your dog if you'd like!
The event will be sponsored by City Orchard Cider, Bad Astronaut Brewing Co, and Eureka Heights! We'll have wine and cocktail options and infused beverages courtesy of 8th Wonder.

Houston's most diverse market returns on October 18th with our special Trick Or Treat Edition- customers are encouraged to come in costume and most of the vendors will have treats to hand out from candy to stickers to buttons to Pokemon cards and more!

There will be OVER 50 VENDORS inside this massive adult playground of a venue which features pool tables, foosball, air hockey, cornhole and more (and all FREE to play!) The venue itself is dog friendly all day and kid friendly until 9pm. If you're looking for a gift or to treat yourself, come to Punk Rock Garage Sale for a true chance to score!

About this event: Based on the punk rock garage sales that took place regularly at Walter's Downtown, Insomnia Gallery has been keeping this tradition alive for the last 6 years! DIY Forever! If you haven't caught on yet, these happen on the 3rd Sunday of EVERY MONTH at Bad Astronaut brewing!
