Just in time for the holidays!
Come join us for a night of STUPID CHEAP original art from some of Houston's finest artists! All art will be only $25 and ready to take home on the SAME NIGHT! All art will be ORIGINAL or limited production pieces. There is no theme to this showcase and we hope to present a HUGE variety of work! You never know what you'll find!
All merchandise in the merch area will be $10 or less! This is really a chance to score some amazing deals!
We used to present Cheap Date once or twice a year, but this is the only time this year and we saved it for our last showcase of 2025! We expect to feature about 300-400 pieces, all priced at just $25! In the past we charged a small admission fee for this unique event, but this year it is FREE ENTRY!!!
HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:
The first hour will be viewing only and sales will start at 8pm. The first 50 guests to arrive will receive a number and be served in order, after that it's first come first served! Each of these first 50 guests will receive a sticker to reserve one piece they love!
Limit 4 pieces per guest until all interested guests have been served, then anything goes! At 9:30PM we will refresh the walls with even more artwork so don't worry if you can't come on time- there will be plenty of great pieces all night long!
Like all of our shows, there will be a pop up merchandise area inside the gallery where artists offer prints, stickers, shirts, zines and more- for this special event, everything here will be priced at $10 or less to help you stretch your holiday dollars!
We'll have Umbrella Fellas serving up burgers and dogs (vegan options too) and The Cookie Conjurer (decadent and huge cookies!) out back in addition to complimentary beverages from City Orchard, Eureka Heights, Bad Astronaut and 8th Wonder plus wine and more!
This is going to be an awesome show- art, music, movies, drinks, and chill vibes.

There will be OVER 50 VENDORS inside this massive adult playground of a venue which features pool tables, foosball, air hockey, cornhole and more (and all FREE to play!) The venue itself is dog friendly all day and kid friendly until 9pm.

Based on the punk rock garage sales that took place regularly at Walter's Downtown, Insomnia Gallery has been keeping this tradition alive for the last 6 years! DIY Forever! If you haven't caught on yet, these happen on the 3rd Sunday of EVERY MONTH at Bad Astronaut brewing!

Created in the mid-90s, Pokémon isn't just one of the biggest selling video game franchises of all time, it's THE biggest media selling media franchise EVER! Plus it gave birth to some of the most memorable and iconic creature designs in gaming history! Come celebrate the 30th ANNIVERSARY of this awesome and expansive kingdom of monsters as Houston artists pay homage to their favorites in this semi-annual showcase!
Join us on Friday January 9th as dozens of local artists pay tribute to their favorite characters and yours! This has always been one of our most anticipated showcases and it's only the second time hosting it at Hardy!

As always, we'll have free beer on hand courtesy of Eureka Heights Brew Co, Bad Astronaut Brewing, 8th Wonder and ciders from City Orchard! We'll whip up a batch of our own themed cocktail and have wine available as well!
